Mr. Thomas N. Lance - District One Director

Mr. Lance, known affectionately known by his students as, "grandpa" has been the District 1 director since 1986. He has experience as a language arts teacher.

Mr. Cook has been the principal here at Town Middle School for 7 years. Cook boasts a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Technology Education from Town University and Lobton School.

Ms. Amanda S. Van Tell - Vice Principal

Ms. Van Tell has been our Vice Principal for many years. She has strong leadership qualiities, and has a Bachelor of Science from Olsan School.

Mr. Corey A. Flint - Dean of Students

Mr. Flint is an excellent leader, first as the Dean of Students at Town Elementary, and then the Extracurricular Dept. Chair at Town Middle. He has a Master of Education from Aphilius Academy.

Ms. Rosa B. Powers - Librarian

Ms. Powers has been at TMS since 1976, back when Mr. Darwin was the principal. She has experience as a Language Arts teacher as well, with a Bachelor of English Education from Aphilius Academy.

Dr. Travis A. Knight - Science Teacher

Dr. Knight has been teaching here at TMS since 1995, first as an apprentice. He has a Bachelor of Science from Townland University and a Doctorate from the University of Aden.

Mrs. Amelia C. Edwards - Math Teacher

Mrs. Edwards is one of the best math teachers out there, teaching since 1999 and teaching at TMS since 2008. She has a Bachelor of Mathematics, Master of Education, and a Master of Math Education.

Ms. Tiffany L. Powell - Social Studies Teacher

Mrs. Powell is an experienced social studies teacher, teaching since 2004, that gives students high test results. She has a Master of Education from Houghton School.

Ms. Laura D. Smithsen - Science Teacher

Mrs. Smithsen is our proud third floor science teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Townland University and experience as an assistant labworker in HONE. Y Innovations.

Mr. Wehl has been our third floor language arts teacher since 2003. He has a Bachelor of English Education and a Master of Education, both from University of Acorn-Stallmann.

Mr. Oft has been a loyal and exquisite teacher since 2016, teaching Social Studies. He has a Bachelor of Medieval History from Houghton School and a Bachelor of American History from Houghton School.

Mrs. Megan W. Johnson - Math Teacher

Mrs. Johnson is our proud third floor math teacher, respectively. She has a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Math Education from Townland University.

Mr. Jamie R. Erwin - Language Arts

James Erwin, known as Jamie, has been the first floor Language Arts teacher since 2004. He has experience as a Language Arts support specialist and has a master's degree from Gordon M. Vorvet Academy.

Mr. Ross can speak 3 languages apart from English. French, Spanish, and Russian. He has been at TMS for 13 years and boasts education from the prestigious Siston School of Language.

Mrs. Eileen O. Ross - STEM Teacher

Mrs. Ross, a STEM teacher, has been at the forefront for STEM education at TMS for many years. She has a Bachelor of Technology and sponsors the STEM club. She is married to Mr. Devon S. Ross.

Mrs. Stacey Z. Schwartz - Drama Teacher

Mrs. Schwartz has had passion for stage acting, and brings that passion to TMS, where she has been teaching since 2011. She has experience as a director for a short film as well as an apprentice radio commentator.

Ms. Joan R. Bass - Art Teacher

Ms. Bass, a seasoned art teacher with experience in art and literature, has been at TMS since 2005. She has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education. She can also speak Finnish.

Mrs. Natalie N. West - Music Teacher

Mrs. West is a skilled musician, with a Master of Music Education. She has been teaching music at TMS since 2016 and has experience as a director and composer herself.

Quentin Ore is our School Resource Officer here at TMS. He's been in the position since 2013 and has a Bachelor of Criminal Science. He works part time as a traffic operator during the summer.

Mr. Middleton chairs the Technology Department at TMS and has been our Technology Repairer since 2017. He has a Bachelor of Computer Science and has experience as a camera operator for 6 News.

Mr. Bob E. Ob - Cafeteria Worker 

Mr. Bob E. Ob has worked at the school for 45 years, providing lunch so the students don't starve. His specialty is a gunk ball with extra lint, but he serves other food such as rocks, sticks from caves, and the ever-popular king-sized pizza, only served once per year. Toppings include: Grass, wood, fried wheat, copper wire, unknown hard stuff, orange peels, and bacon.
